Automatic key rotation in new iOS version (2020.3)
iOS users of the Mullvad VPN app now have automatic WireGuard® key rotation in the latest release.
What’s new in this version
- WireGuard keys are now automatically rotated, or replaced with new ones, every 4 days. This gives the device a new IP which helps improve anonymization and limit tracking.
- IPv6 is now supported.
- Dates are now displayed in a more readable format.
- We disabled the `URLSession` cache. Doing so prevents someone with physical access to a jailbroken device from leaking minor data files.
