Final reminder for OpenVPN removal
This is the final reminder that we are fully removing support for OpenVPN on January 15th 2026, in a month's time.
This means we will no longer have any OpenVPN servers in a month.
We blogged about this in November 2024, also here when we removed OpenVPN support from our desktop apps.
If you are still using OpenVPN in any way, we strongly advise that you switch to WireGuard.
We have guides on how to use WireGuard in the help section of our website.
OpenVPN servers will continue to work until 15th January 2026, but new servers will not be added, and existing servers will be taken offline as the days go by.
It will not be possible to generate new OpenVPN configurations soon.
