Mullvad donates to WireGuard

If you've been following our blog recently, then you're well aware that we see potential in the WireGuard VPN protocol. We've therefore decided to support the project's development through December with a sizeable donation.

Why we like WireGuard

We find WireGuard beneficial for a number of reasons:

• the focus on simplicity and usability in its design
• the ease at which it can be audited and verified
• the high speed at which it performs
• its use of state-of-the-art cryptography.
